Yakimachi in Leicester

"We had a lovely visit at Yakimachi. The restaurant was quiet initially so we were seated immediately, but it did soon fill out with people. Our orders were taken and the food arrived shortly after. Everything was fresh, tasted delicious and the portions were very substantial. I’d highly recommend a visit to this place!"

"This is by far the best place to go for Sushi or Ramen in Leicestershire! The portions are fantastic for value and the staff are so sweet, everything tastes delicious and fresh and comes out of the kitchen so fast! It is quite small inside so it can be difficult to get a table if it’s busy! But when you do it is so worth it! Really recommend the salt and pepper options! Those are delicious, the sushi is also huge and fab!"

"Honestly, the takoyaki you can tell is definitely handmade- was shocking how nice it was, really crisp batter and the octopus inside is quite considerable in size. The sashimi cuts are also generous. Not only that, the omurice curry, and uramaki is phenomenal. Compared to other sushi restaraunts i've been to, i'd say Yakimachi is a favourite. Different menu options compared to your typical sushi with a pretty interior, and a friendly waitress who provided very quick service. Thank you!"

"Delicious meal! The Omurice with Chicken Katsu curry did not disappoint and I’m excited to come again and try more dishes. Reasonable prices, amicable atmosphere, and the WiFi was good enough for remote work (a bit slow intermittently). I’ll certainly be back!"

"Definitely one of the best (and underrated) sushi spots in Leicester. Food is fresh and tasty, staff are welcoming, friendly and attentive and the atmosphere is wonderfully pleasant. I have allergies and I asked the server if he could tell the chef to avoid using a certain garnish on one of the dishes. When the food arrived, instead of there being no garnish at all (which is what I anticipated), they added CAVIAR! What's even better is that was my first time ever eating caviar (darling ) and I didn't even anticipate it! This level of attention to detail and customer service needs to be mentioned. In a world where everybody wants something for nothing, it's nice to know that I was considered to this extent. I love and appreciate that. 10/10 will be back"
